Our Wide Range of Veterinary Services
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination more than annual vaccinations. From your pet's very first puppy/kitten visit to health care in their senior years - we've got you covered! Preventive veterinary care can help alleviate serious health problems.
Internal medicine: We offer complete medical services in-clinic for diagnosis of your pet's clinical problems. We also offer referrals to internal medicine specialists who help us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
Surgical Services: Our dedicated surgical suite is utilized for a wide variety of soft-tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures. Whether it be a dog or cat spay or neuter, or mass removal, we are ready for that. We utilize the safest available gas anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, a trained veterinary technician monitors the patient's vital signs throughout the procedure.
Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
Radiology Services: Our on-site, state-of-the-art digital X-ray equipment immediately provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. This technology also allows us to send radiographs electronically to specialists for complicated cases.
Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for complete blood work including serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize outside veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets from Hill's and Purina.
Laser Therapy: We do provide Class 4 cold laser therapy for painful conditions such as arthritis, muscle pain, disc disease, trauma, oral disease, ear disease, and other inflammatory conditions. We also use our laser following surgery to reduce post-operative surgical pain.
Individualized Parasite Prevention Control: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control parasites in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
Emergency Care: Please call our main telephone number for instructions for after-hour emergencies.
