This is the main emergency center for pets in the Quad Cities area. Our after-hours emergencies are usually sent to this well-equipped and fully-staffed after-hours center for care. Their website includes directions to their facility and contact phone numbers Humane Society of Scott County The HSSC is now located on West Central Park Avenue in Davenport, and is the home for lost and found pets of all shapes and sizes, as well as the headquarters for Animal Control. It is not affiliated with our veterinary clinic Quad Cities Greyhound Adoption This volunteer organization takes in retired racing greyhounds and finds them homes with loving families. They are always in need of volunteers and donations as well as adoptive families! Quad Cities Animal Welfare Center This no-kill shelter is located in Milan, IL and always has many animals awaiting homes CM Academy of Dog Training Owned and operated by experienced dog trainer Jim Stenfeldt, this academy offers training for dogs of all ages and experience levels. Jim also offers personal consultation for problem pets, as well as individual training opportunities. He holds classes at two locations in the Quad Cities. Dog Builders Dog Builders is a company partially operated by Jim Stenfeldt of CM Academy. They provide dog training in Illinois and Iowa for therapy, security, and police dogs. Scott County Kennel Club The SCKC (located in Davenport) offers dog training classes, puppy kindergarten, rally obedience, and utility training classes for dogs of all ages and sizes.
